A lot of books are talking about surrogate keys. One of its benefits is tracking down changes of price for example. Product A: price;$2000 10 days ago. If you already have basic concept of cube, MDX, diemsion etc, SQL server 2005 tutorials are recommended. If you go through step by step, you could take most necessary skills from it. SQL BOL has plenty information about AS as well including basic to advanced.

Standard version comes with it as well. But some additional features are missing, I reckon, such as real time proactive casching, perspectives etc.

Hi guys, I wonder SQL 7 mainstream support from Microsoft will stop at the end of this year. Is it a compulsory reason SQL 7 boxes should be upgraded to SQL 2000 or SQL 2005 near future? Thanks
