SQL Server 2008 provides a number of security enhancements that help provide effective management of security including strong authentication and access control, powerful encryption and key management capabilities and enhanced auditing.
The session will provide an overview of some of the most important enhancements including Transparent Data Encryption, Extensible Key Management and new Auditing functionality. In this session you will learn how these features can be utilised to keep your data as secure as possible.
This session will demonstrate how to install SQL Server securely and ensure that security is maintained as applications and users make use of the data stored.
