Author: Peter Ward Date Posted: 3/04/2008 12:08:40 AM
This month Rod Colledge will present an overview of the top features in SQL Server 2008 from a DBA perspective. He’ll cover Policy Based Management, Backup and Data Compression, Management Studio Enhancements, Resource Governor, Performance Data Collector, Database Mirroring and lots more. He’ll also be doing some live demos using the CTP6 release of SQL Server 2008. He promises that at least half of these demos have a reasonable chance of working.

He’s spent the last 10 years contracting as a SQL Server Developer and DBA in organisations including the Australian Tax Office, QIC and UNiTAB.
