Rob will present a session on how to pinpoint SQLServer performance issues using tools like Read80Trace and ClearTrace. These tools are freely downloadable from the internet and provide an easy way to import and analyse SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 trace data.
The session will show how to determine the top SQL, Users, Applications and Databases utilising your SQL Server, and how to use the trace analysis data to benchmark and compare SQL Server performance over time.
