In this session Peter will demonstrate how SMO can be applied in the enterprise to assist in automating common administrative tasks as well as to extend the functionality of SQL Server.
Peter Ward is the Chief Technical Architect for WARDY IT Solutions, a consulting company specialising in SQL Server Solutions which he founded in 2004. Peter has extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server including design, development and deployment. Having worked on all versions of SQL Server since 6.5, he has extensive experience in retail implementations both as a developer and database administrator. Since founding WARDY IT Solutions Peter has continued to focus on his passion of automating administrative tasks for SQL Server.
